I see.  I couldn't find the cruise buttons though.  I was able to check both brake switches which one is part of the cruise permission.

Button / clockspring/ column harness makes the most sense. Glad scanner confirmed. If you can find button actuation that’ll obviously be most helpful.

Ha! I took the screw out of the back of the cruise buttons. If I give it a good jostling, I can get it to set 1/10 times.

The cruise buttons listed to fit this truck are a totally different style.  I got these on eBay as they looked correct, listed for 2002 1500.  They are the right buttons but different wiring.  3 wire vs 2 wire, hardwire vs plug.  Can’t find the right ones ::).

Yeah, I suppose.  This type should be specific to just 2002-2005 1500 or 2003-2005 25/3500.  The one I just bought that was wrong was listed as 2002 1500  ::).

Took it for a drive.  Lamp Out seems to be happy after twisting pass rear harness.  Did the same with the cruise wiring and now it works about 1/5 times.  O2 sensor and Evap codes have not returned.

Had to do a complete rebuild on my slide out for the fridge.  I forgot to put the lock on it one or three times which allows it to slide out while driving and bent the sliders all up.  I used 100lb sliders which is the largest Lowes has.  I went with self closing this time which gives it a little more resistance to pull out, however, it is too heavy to self close.  I found some 250lb sliders on Amazon I think I'm going to try.

Added a second 100ah battery.

Was bored on a Teams call yesterday and randomly started looking at underbody boxes on Amazon.  Found a Buyers aluminum diamond plate 30x12 scratch-n-dent for $200, normally $333.  Said no cosmetic damage.  Hopefully a score.

Still need to address slightly worn carrier bearing.  I measured it and falls between both options on RockAuto ::).  I need to remeasure I guess.

The shaft that goes into my carrier bearing is 1.4135 OD.  Options are 1.378 or 1.575 bearing ID.  Am I measuring it wrong?

Not that I can see.  There is a, I'll call it a bearing cover, but it appears to be the same diameter.
