What I bought to get me the sensors will leave me with that same EGT kit as spare/resell. hoped to recoup a couple bucks for a kit that costs the same total as just a pressure sensor and sensor interface.

Have seen this on the overhead twice in the past month.
Codes for fuel level sensor both high and low and CCV . I have a ccv filter on the shelf,
See it that fixes or if it’s the purge valve.

Changed the pcv filter before a trip last week and got the same service message once since.

Fuel gauge will read at full only, still. Guess fifteen year old half million mile trucks need som attention here and there.

four coated reman calipers and new front and rear pads ordered.
Once I pull it in, will I regret not ordering flex lines and rotors immediately? Will I find crunchy brake lines anywhere?

You'll all be the second to know.

Fail: no 8x6.5 adaptor on the on car brake lathe.

I don’t have an 8 lug rotor in scrap to make one from either. Damnit

First rotor off and mildly sketchy setup was about to be tested. Idler motor on the 3 phase converter shit out while I was trying to true up the rotor.

One scored rotor pulled to be replaced, rest fine to run as is. Humbug

Oil and filter
Tires rotated

Transmission topped off. May be leak from breather or top cover. Something high. May also need output seal.

I changed valve cover gasket a while ago and checked bolts recently when I did the PCV filter. Looks like that is still leaking at the back.

4 new calipers and new left rear rotor.
2 calipers were bad. I could have not done the right rear, it was newer. Other three could have been original
Left rear was to metal plus a bit. Never squealed but braking performance had been shitty.

I’ll have to see if I (or we, maybe someone without a broken 3ph converter and dead machine shop?) can make a longer cutter arm and make an 8 lug adaptor for the on-car brake lathe out of this bad rotor. Smike did you end up with a spare 10 lug or Ford pattern 8 lug rotor? Probably easier to drill new patterns in one rotor and adapt to the lathe.

Hasn’t stopped this well in probably 5 years. Full success.

Testing tomorrow.

Tested well. I hurt an abs sensor though: abs light and no cruise :(

Bit heavy. Especially with empty tanks. I may consider flipping and downsizing a hair. Price and condition were right. Done vacuuming. Needs a few interior trim pieces fixed and the floor under the plumbing needs a bit of work.

Probably do a fresh thread on it.

Picked up outside Mansfield PA. Got just over 20mpg on the way down by the overhead. Just under 14 coming back up.

I changed the front tiedown to near vertical with a tiny bit rear after the picture. It’s on stall mats and moved around less than half an inch.
