I guess I just order both and return one.  Can buy 2 on RA for less cost than 1 at NAPA.

New truck for etk

I was struggling with a method to mount this box.  No way to mount it on the frame or bed with L brackets.  It needed to be 1.5" below the flatbed cross beams for the door to open and higher than 1.75" or it hit the leaf spring bolt that sticks way out.  Not accessible above the box once held in place obviously.  I ended up using 1.625" Kindorf Channel.  Bolted the channel to the bed cross beams, used spring nuts in the Kindorf to mount the box.  I put two pieces of Kindorf full length inside the box to support.

Carrier bearing and rear output seal replaced.  All bolts were neverseized.  Thanks Mikemike for getting the bearing off.  My 3-jaw puller wasn't doing it, used a bearing separator and a good beating.  Its always had a resonant vibration when going up a steep hill at low speed. Curious to see if this was the issue.

eBay Cruise buttons no go, same error.  Seems even worse, I can’t get it to work at all.   I guess I’ll throw a clock spring at it and then give up.

Kayak racks installed.  It’s not really to my liking but I’m not moving the roof racks or the solar panels.

I saw a Minnie Winnie with vertical racks on the back like I’d have to do. I like yours a lot better than that - but ease of getting them in place may go to the ugly setup.

So, I tried putting my original cruise buttons on with the new wiring harness and it works 100%.
