Would need to open up the 1.5” id a sneeze, and sleeve each side to keep it centered. Keep same mounts on the car. Easy!

Lowers looked perfect. I think it must have to do with lateral angle change through articulation.

summit link,  7/8" bolts then?  or is the id spec missing.  9.5 degrees sounds disappointing also.

id guess you would quickly start egging out those DOM 0.250"-0.0625 sleeves next being structural steel instead of what china chromo usually wraps the 1.25" heims we usually use

I’d sleeve the 9/16 bolt to 5/8

Worry more about concentrating the stress on the center of the long boot than the 1/4” steel but you’re probably right. I just want to be lazy. I shouldn’t. There’s good access to rebuild the mounts like i did in the front, it’s just a bunch of work I don’t feel like doing.

I would rip the mounts off if they couldn't change angles, the wear to those bushings makes that crystal clear.
I'm gonna try it. I'll push the button on 2 of those inserts and see what happens. The lowers can stay bushed without any issue, it's the uppers that need the help.

So: cause or symptom? The wear of this oil galley at the gear is the only thing that looks out of place on the rear output housing. Is that a thrust block that’s worn down and lets the c clip pop out?

I thought I'd ordered a new billet output housing, looked over my CC today and it turns out I did.

Never got a confirmation email, which I'd looked for. But I did get charged.

I've subsequently heard some not great things about the vendor I purchased from. Site still says typically ships in 7 days, that would have been about 2 weeks ago. We'll see how that goes.

New bling assembled. Full support of c clip is part of the billet housing.

The initial c clip does appear to have been installed backwards, or popping out twice gave it wear that sure appears like it was machined in.

Just need to feel like crawling around on the floor to install it. Which I should just do since I’m dirty already.

Then a little link machining and spring swapping and I’m ready to still need to build a spare tire carrier and bumper!

Bushings trimmed down around loose spherical bearings. 1/8” steel wrapped around to reinforce “cage”. We’ll see what happen.
