matts buggy build
« Reply #570 on: September 23, 2014, 09:55:28 AM »
Thanks for the offer Mike but the Issue is that the shock is botched back together and has ATF just to keep shim pack lubed. Doesn't deserve a reservoir.

Oh! the other SIDE OF the door, not the SIDE DOOR. I misread.

ATF is fine! :)

Would be nice if Profender stocked shock bodies and told me exactly what they have in stock.

Apparently I'm the only one who breaks stuff of theirs... Therefor they don't need to stick replacement parts but would rather order from Thailand and take 1 month.

Yeah I thought that was pretty cool. I'm not gonna run my mouth in front of both of them on FB until my car is on Fox.

I sure liked placing my order through the website with no racer/friend discount for bump parts. Whatever.

They are too light and weak for rock racing IMO

i drove on a flat no care for 4 miles at speed.  wheel looks fine.  one of the rocks i hit cracked the wheel in the middle between the beads.  both beads have minor damage.  much stronger wheel.  could 20lb hits and weld up the little crack it probably would be fine.

KMC claims a 5.5" wheel back space is available.  probably 6 Months or more to have them drilled.

i run the 4.5"

you would be 2.25" wider meh

6 months? Seriously?

I would expect deeper KMCs wouldn't clear Artecs any better than H2s
