shock eye and hardware replaced on driver front.  it was F'd!
steering hyd filter changed
3 chassis cracks found and repaired.  one at pass motor mount and 2 at rear tire carrier.  nothing important really.  chassis looks good after 13? years?

ordered new rear 1410 driveshaft parts from Dennys.  Decided the one on the car should go back to being a spare, its a bit short and inferior design.  fresh big boy shaft for the race.

couple small items and car ready for race in 2 weeks.

humped tires tonight and dismounted / mounted for race.

also changed the turbo feed line on Matts Truck.  i had told him about 6 months ago it was looking way too crumbly and needed changing!

it fell apart when i put a wrench on it to change  :o  all good and drama free.  also found loose injector line clamp buzzing and tightened up.

C clip on rear output let go taking away low range rear drive in FWD loading.
same failure as 571 in 2019
disassembled, flipped around c clip for fresh square edge against helical gear load, tig welded snap ring shut.

4 link parts, sway bar removed for re fab.  looks like some other link mounts could use some re design and re support as well.

pass side upper chassis mount that failed during race fixed.  tabs cut out for other side also.  and adding on some gussets to fronts at chassis and truss.  there is some 12yr old fab work going on that could be updated

Case back together also.

solid day of Matt and I working on this thing!

while putting new sway bar parts in i found a trailing arm bung weld cracked 270 degrees around and about ready to rip out!

fix that, changed like 6 Link heims and all 8 wobble stoppers/sway bar heims

all suspect 4 link tabs have been reworked / gusseted.

still a bit to go but in good shape for race coming up.
