now that i think about it, 571 use to have a hydroboost pump on it when it was a TBI motor, had two inlets on the res

stick a tranny pan magnet to the filter body as long as you've seen flakes. anything to help!

-Wire casing and clean up
-Trans vent and containment
-Brake booster leak
-move radiator
-lower hood
-2nd trans cooler circuit
-New lower links w/anti rotation bars
-rear sway bar
-wrap
-organize trailer
-test more with steering
-Flip IAFM and new Airfilter/outerwear
-fix diff leaks

move radiator?   check if its packed with mud? maybe sheild / vent from cab?  571 saw huge improvement with cab loovers cut  (also gives winter heat!)

Cut apart the filter and see what it looks like.

Are you sure your orbital isn't something funny, and dead-heading the pump when not moving the wheel or something like that?

No that was the first orbital. Heard the pump cavitate loud when in hard lock left hairpin and that was it. Now no flow at idle.

What's your reservoir setup? I wouldn't expect one cavitation to kill it, but...

We don't really have any volume change with the double ended ram but something funny is obviously going on. I think if I were you I'd garbage pick a high pressure gauge and keep an eye on the supply side pressure to see what it's doing, might give a clue or confirmation?

identical setup to 571 plumbing and res, other than 25um filter added 1' from low pressure return to pump.

Auto zone and Advance both only carry p132 pumps for Chevy HD truck applications. Checking NAPA today.

Both say hydro boost but spec different lb ratings maybe the higher is the P185!
