you will want to grab two of the transfer case side slip yoke ones that are easier to put 4 flats on and stick into square.  The yokes from the actual shaft parts will be for like 3-4" tube and annoying to make adapt to 2.5" and 2" square.

like this kind

Just a copy and paste from Facebook.

Sad 2 days of testing the Buggy. Friday found the new shifter doesn't work right... but found it was my mistake and just inverted my two color choices as both are a shade of blue. Started to feel a little better when it shifted correctly.  My friend Dennis had some fuel delivery issues we got sorted out then after lunch we found some other friends ( Joe Bailey) had joined or camping area. I insisted that he and his wife ride with me instead of paying for a full day for an hour of wheeling and after starting to crawl some good sized rocks the buggy just shut off. After some fiddling found that it was blowing a 30 amp fuse and would not run. Got dragged  back to camp. Found more wheelers waiting Cory.   Ran to parts store, got a part that a lot of forum chatter claimed to be issue but to no avail. Went to bed woke up to a monsoon . Started tracing wires when a Master Tech from our club offered his advice to unplug the o2 sensor. And wouldnt you know it, starts right up after jumping the battery that no longer holds a charge.

Time to wheel. Buggy died once more from battery issue. Leave it run is the consensus so I wheel some more only to have my driver front tire try to walk under my lower link and snap my driver side  shafts and the 1350 ujoint.

so shifter is fixed and good?

any idea what blew the 30a? related to the O2?

Curious what the full story is on the link and damage there. limit straps fix that, or design change needed?

Roof was mint! According to Dennis Langston  probably a failed heater in the o2 sensor. Steering problem is when turning left it turns so far that the tire hits the lower link. Never thought it would catch and pull under it. Either needs the ram adjusted or to have steering stops put in.

steering stops should match the travel limits of the ram to keep things from fighting and causing later issues.

While swaping in the drivers side shaft. I took apart the warn locking hub and it has what I would call a wave spring that is now in 3 pieces. Does anyone know if it's normally  in 3  or is it supposed to be in one piece. Could not find info or a good picture of a locking hub taken apart. They all look like a cartridge of gears that slide in to the unit bearing.

I'd bet it is suppose to be one piece.

Look at the Amazon listing. The first image can be zoomed to see a bit clearer.

Broke apart factory hub off donor axle stole the spring and is all back together to wheel. Just need to remember to not fully turn left, so tire doesn't bind against the lower link

This sweet unit drank all the coolant out on Friday and burned all the oil out on sat. Then wouldn't start and stay running for more than a few min.

Charged up the batter I killed winching onto the trailer and it won't power anything up. Checked has power feeding disconnect but no power on other side. Wiggled all sorts of harness and wires to no avail. For giggles called my dad and asked if a bad ground could cause issue as the winch works ok after charging battery. Hooked jumper cable from negative battery terminal to the frame and now starts right up.   Exploring options to buy a motor and trans but may just use some blue devil products to try and save the 4.0 a little longer.
