I will be looking for one thursday evening sometime.

"family time" tonight (damn that sounds weird to say)

Ryan, I know you said you'd check what parts you have, would you potentially have any valve stacks? I'm hoping I can find a rough patch and get Nate to shoot some video for me friday to get a baseline for initial shock changes when I open them up. I've done some reading and watched some videos, I'm ready to play some voodoo. I'll be wishing for bypasses pretty much instantly, and surely questioning my Legends-eligible choices. Topics for another thread since we have three cars that need this work.

Profender shocks will not use conventional valve stacks like the Fox or King, you will need to adjust valving on a shim basis, changing out shims for larger or smaller in the stack. They do not have the full stack tuning ability that you read about.

Im sure I have valve shims around somewhere, I will check.

I have many many 2.0 valve shims, and 2 2.0 shaft seals.

Only a couple 2.5 shims.

no IFP seals?

Don't suppose you have a drawing or pic of the valving? I don't understand what you mean.

Mkay, so it's a matter of having fewer diameter and thickness choices and a less progressive stack than others? Compared to the pics I've seen of Fox and King stacks there's a LOT less taper and a lot more repeated sizes there

Yes, Profender will be more trial and error than the Fox. More stacking of the same size shims to get to where you want.

You will need to create a "flutter stack" to get what you need.  http://www.crawlpedia.com/shock_tuning.htm

Depending how frame side link mounts work out when I go heim, I just wanted to put this here as a sexy sexy idea. I don't think it would work on my chassis...

Amazing.  I'd just clear-coat it. No need for paint.
