If I were UPS, I'd ask for packaging pictures from me, and I'd deny the claim.

They should have been in a small box in the big box and they'd have been fine. They probably were just bagged? Shitty.

Speedway comes through again. Second time I've had a shipping issue with them - first was a site shipping time calculator being a day off and they comped me $20. This time they're 2nd daying the full set of lost parts. I told them that I was hoping to work on my shit this weekend and ETA is Friday. Hopefully they all arrive this time. Or at least that one left hander does...

1" heims are not a common item. They had them.

That said, I've done a TON of business with Speedway and they've always been really good. I'm probably 40/40 between Speedway and Summit. 9% Jegs, 9% Ruffstuff, 2% Fleabay/clist for nearly all the rest.

Arrived. No box improvement. Large bag inside w all parts in it. Probably good for loose parts recovery in the ups system...

Matt, is my 6th tire race ready? I need to dismount and look at my spare. Small sidewall pinch, but potentially split the rubber at the bead. Wheel is narfed real good there but the bead looks whole - but it leaks almost as fast as I can fill it.

I somehow missed buying 3/4" bolts last time I restocked, so I need to pick up more hardware. I have 9/16, 5/8, and 7/8. Fail... Need to stock toplocks too, and restock a few sizes already. I used a LOT of 1/4" in the trans swap floor project.

When I picked up my lowboy I was going to grab shock oil and shims out of the Ford. I guess they're the the shop though. I don't know that I'll have/make time to get into the shocks at all. At most, I think I'll try to swap a complete remote res and top off the oil. Anyone know the spec for IFP setting pre-charge? I can probably fake that pretty well when swapping the whole unit but need to know for a full rebuild if getting into the remote.

My rear springs are sitting like SHIT and wearing the hell out of the bottom caps. Seems all the Blue Coils did this. I think it needs some PAC love - but probably wrapped around some Fox 2.5s. That sounds expensive.

prerace punch list:
swap remote resi and bleed shock
Get one, hopefully 2 good spare tires
fix brakes. probably new master cyl unless there's a leak I haven't noticed.
install heim joints on front uppers

Nicities:
front diff seals, check wheel bearings
trans kickdown cable
Heims on rear uppers
Weld up small truss crack on rear at diff

I think that's it. Smike has the right lifestyle for racing....

shock oil in shop
spare tire looks ok.  has a small bubble in the sidewall- looks like a cord broke or something

shop is a mess from unpacking, but we have two 100% functional cars that dont need any prep really.

Fastenal Henrietta was a mess in the 3/4" area.

Found what I needed for coarse thread after resigning myself to fine thread - it was the third mis stocked item in 5 bins.

Jokinen Inc has about $92 purchased, paid for on the spot.

This was on a Slime wheel so it's not a "clean" wound.

Try to clean with soap and water? Brake cleaner? Not sure if that would hurt the rubber...

Spread it as far as I can without ripping more and slob it up with rubber cement? Gorilla glue? Or try to get it vulcanized?

Bead cords feel whole...

when did you get a flat?  cant see what im looking at.  i have had good success with patch work, but a bead lock clamp helps a lot with close to bead stuff

That tire was going flat when I broke the link. Inner bead, left rear, pinch.

The bar code sticker is the bead seat. It's right at/ through the rim protector.
