after we chatted about ls intakes, it dawned on me why did you take the rail off the ifam- it only fits one way, and you just need to take the 8mm bolts out and it lifts as an assembly Integreated Air Fuel Module.  should just be wires to plug back in and re rout the fuel lines.

A little bit of plastic removal on the top of the intake and the fuel rails don't need to flip.  They bolt down either way, only the crossover tube has any issues. I didn't realize that either way at the time, but I do like the fuel lines where they are at the back of the driver head instead of making a 180Ëš turn coming off the front of the passenger head.

The damaged o-rings were definitely during an earlier assembly, rails came off the IFAM really easily. I got it fired but with the MAF connected it's running really rich. Behaves like it's missing the O2. I didn't grab my scanner to read codes. Hopefully it knows what it's missing. It's either that or it's something vacuum related like with the valve cover breather hookups getting swapped and fighting PCV. Which reminds me - is that maybe what you did with that whistle and oil pressure loss?

id say it needs some learn time but your injectors to banks remained the same correct?

intake gaskets were in ok reusable shape?  (they are designed to be reusable)

that motor has always run fine with 1 side o2 so probably not issue.

no idea what wires to hook a scanner to, those arent present

id start with a can of starting fluid and start spraying for vacuum leaks.

It learned something, second and subsequent starts were WAY better, but it's still rougher than it should be. Not a miss. Butter smooth when it's dumb (MAF unplugged) so it's not an injector or spark issue.

Are you sure there's not an OBD plug under electrical tape? It felt like the right pins and shape one but I didn't cut for visual. I'd add a check engine light but I bet without a right bank O2 it's probably on all the time anyway. Not sure if it would be angry about anything else?

injectors are in the same holes they started in.

If I had another MAF I'd slap it in. I need a junkyard run to stock up on spares, I should start making a list.

look and see if the wires in the MAF are broken or burned, they are easy to see.

Visual check was good. It definitely saw significant moisture but it was fine on the way out of the trailer before I took it apart and put it back together. It didn't get dropped/ slammed/ poked/ contaminated while off the intake. Would be odd to have spontaneous failure coincident to taking a dozen other things apart and reconfiguring them.

I'll have to grab some ether

Going to meet UPS freight at the M4 lot tomorrow. Tires may get locked together in the paddock until my truck runs, shuttling two at a time in the Eagle sounds unfun. Sorry for inviting myself over.

They don't run pups, all 48' - The dock here at work is miserable to get into with one of those and a 48 wouldn't fit well around the park across the street, nor Advancement, and CERTAINLY not on my street. bah.

5' of vacuum line and this thing runs right as rain! Parts coming in nicely. Plenty to do and I feel like I'm in a pretty good spot. Hoping to get to M4 late this week for shaft and link and shock n2 charges.

Was going to pull the bum link tonight but it needs to come out of the trailer for jacking and unbinding. I'm sure it'll be a treat to install the link on the ground.
