boogered 1/4NPT /Metric pipe thread on side of head last night trying to install adaprtor for makeshift gages.  need to drill out and tap to 3/8NPT bah.

Car ready minus tins and fix coolant gage / top off coolant system.  Got hot and went into limp- think too much of an air slug got in when i was fubaring the coolant port.

Sheared power steering pump shaft at 9pm last night testing in lawn. Pulley felt loose since I got the engine, new one is right and tight, steering is even better than before. No return to center at all. That may be an issue for racing. Coolant issue fixed. Loaded in trailer and ready to rock!

This thing did awesome at Rausch! Every line I tried in the comp course was scaled with ease. Got some new aluminum Liquid Iron Industries mirrors from Tim that held up nice in the woods. Both sides of Trail 5 hill climb were attempted. Walked up the left denied on the right. Broke a front shock shaft from the coils rubbing on the high steer arms. Knew this coming in but wow didn't think the shaft would break from the springs rubbing on the high steer arm. Big thanks to Mike Snyder at Down and Dirty Offroad for letting me use his shop and time to put another shock shaft in. Next stop is the Twisted Toys 4x4 Club Christmas Toy Drive at Wayne's World in Corning, NY next weekend. Lots of rock bounce style hill climbs and such always a great time.

when dropped out and full lock contact with solid high steer arm to lower coil retainer is what sheared the shaft.  Was really nice that was the only part damaged.  Apparently that is a 25$ part installed at DnD.   Great guys.

This thing did awesome hill killin' yesterday, no issues but I'm sure I'll find something once I get all the mud off. Both Yukon Superjoints were loose when checked before the trip though, spiders are loose in the caps not caps in shafts. This is the second run on them anyone else have this issue so early on? Erik?

Tim from LII thinks they just need grease. Definitely have to grease them before every trip.
