toyota use is a little different... i never had issues or cared about 1/8 slop on the CJ.


erik does the same with his buggy with a little better setup with Bronze bushings that are replaceable.   Tractor supply off the shelf components were the attraction for me.

I'm running TRE's so is that the better way to go?

id go 3/4 or 7/8ths heims honestly.  i hate TRE, but they seem to work well on the Dak.

they seem to have proven themselves a weak point on the Dak... have had VERY few steering issues over the years that weren't a TRE bending like a pretzel

actually i am upsizing on my new tie rod, so the old 3/4 heims are available.  i wont have a need for the spare or two that i have also.


they are so cheap from ruff stuff though...

I have a tie rod with the bungs welded in from Atom, I replaced it with a longer one. Its 1.5" .250 wall square. I even have extra bungs if you need to shorten it.  If you want it let me know.

finally sent hydro assist back.  new cylinder ordered.  purchased new water pump and disconnect switch from the Eagle.  harnesses should be here tomorrow.

I dont think the S-10 rad is going to work, too wide.  Be nice to mount it in the back, but thats a whole nother project to do before big hawgs

My belts came with wrap around ends, I ordered bolt in, awaiting a response
