Saw Justin Barth post some model boat action on fb last week. Need something kinda big and slow for a pond this size. 80x105 or so gets eaten up fast with boats that’ll do 70.

The RC hobby has picked up big time the past year as a hobby for folks stuck at home with covid.  Vintage stuff can sell for good money on ebay if you don't want to keep them

Hunter told me today that he has seen birds flying into the grill area of the truck. Sure enough there was a nest on a splash gaurd.

they are fast and relentless.  took about 5 tries to stop them from mudding one right above my front screen porch door.

i had hundreds of birds in my lower barn.  that to a few weeks- im down to about 2-3 ha

the still fly into the upper barn when i have the doors open but quickly realize something is different and bail!

Any bets on where a floor radiant heat loop is going to be? I don’t have thermal camera access that i know if, but do have a couple cheap IR temp gun things.

Want to put a couple lags in the floor to keep this axle rack where I put it.

I’d expect the edge of the slab to be clear, but how far in? Idk. Ladder is positioned about where I want it. I’m thinking halfway between there and the wall might be my target.

buy a $200 FLIR iphone adapter... might be the best $200 you spend preventing you from having a mess.

I’ve heard of wetting down the floor with it in and you can see where it dries first

Standalone low-end thermal camera should be here tomorrow. Rack is stood up and ready to secure. Looking pretty good. Hopefully pinions don’t get in my way too much. That light fixture is going to come down. A bit of light relocation to be done.

Ready to put a tire rack on the ceiling on that wall too. Half cut, and the long part is flown and hanging. Supports to the beams vary and length and will be cut to fit. Will be some extension ladder welding tomorrow.
