I need to turn my sketches into drawings for some peer review but I think I settled on what to do for tire storage, and decided on a final axle rack design. Hoping it works out such that I have a good position on the rack to work on an axle out of a car too.

34” or so seem like a good support width?

Does putting 9-10 axles on one side of a pair of vertical 4” channels seem sketchy, weight wise? Ladder type setup. Sitting on concrete at the bottom and top tied to a building beam with some wall support tie in as well.

idk, if it's full of D60 steer axles fully dressed it could get a lil heavy. but steel is pretty ok in compression. A support in the middle and an X brace should keep it in compression instead of some other shape. I hope.

I'd be interested in a SD60 99-04 if you've got one...

no super duty stuff. older BJ ford/dodge things, late model e250 semifloat rear, and that mostly covers it.

99-04 Ford & 94-99 Dodge D60s use same inner Cs.

I’ve been meaning to ask if I can have the bare Ford D60 I gave you years ago back... if you have no plans fir it

Did the initial dose of blue. Figured at the sump outlet would spread it pretty good.

Do you have a lot of water runoff through that pond when it rains hard?
