forgot to mention.  the black hard top im cutting up was a free market place find.  broken back window and one crack i just glued you cant see now. 

still have the tan hardtop thats mint, and probably worth 4-600$   (was a JandJ pull for 150$)

4 layers glued up today and 80% of the shaping done.  should be ready for some filler and paint soon.

80 grit body work and first shot of black today.  will be bed lined after rear window sourced.

May I offer an alternative?

No rear window, but put in a rearview LCD screen.

I have similar to this in our work ford transit that has rear windows covered with vinyl.  It's fantastic.

thats cool but i think i like the window look.

picked up a truck cap window from the junkyard this morning and just finished bedliner and window install. 

turned out pretty sweet i think,.
