Brother in Law reports that the ebay exhausts we got do not have the correct turbo flange on the down pipe.  looks to be of 2004 ish vintage with large flare instead of flat flange with gasket.

pulled in to defrost for exhaust work
fixed rotten bumper pull trail plug mount.

pulled intake and some under hood parts out of the way to inspect for coolant leak.
see dried coolant spray on oil filter.  cant identify where its coming from.  uses about 1/2 gal in a tank of fuel.  you would think it would be easier to find.

ill start with a lower Y hose (another stupid plastic crimp thing) and probably change the water pump and belt while im at it, since both radiators will drain.

exhaust installed today, no issues.  had to weld on a new turbo flange, cut one of the pipes shorter for the muffler i added, and added a hanger in the rear.  everything fit fit and lined up.

Brother in law reported many problems for his 3/4 ton auto.  could not get down pipe in with out removing trans cross member so he had to cut it in half. also said not fit over axle at all or line up,he side dumped before rear axle.  not sure why he had so many problems.

noticed EGR block off plate is leaking coolant again same place so i guess ill fix that first before throwing more hoses at it that dont seem to be leaking.
