I learned that clutches found with G56 have adjustable pressure plate. Not sure on if it can be adjusted in-vehicle, though.

feels good.  havent beat on it really, letting the clutch break in do its thing.  and i dont normally tow only 8500lbs so the feeling of nothing behind it with that weight isnt really comparable to anything it usually tows.

seems like a solid unit.  put 3 tanks though it so far.  found slight coolant leak right near some kind of TEE that might have gotten banged with the new intake install today. 

otherwise love it.  ready for first good tow this weekend.

got about 11.5 MPG loaded going down and about the same with just the trailer coming back.  not bad for the numbers it usually runs. 


confirmed with MikeyG today that its a 60hp tow tune over the standard pickup tune, not the derated cab chassis tune.  that makes way more sense the way the truck feels to have picked up 300 ftlbs. 


apparently my Edge tuner has an expandable input for gages and for 100$ you can get an EGT probe thats plug and play.  ( i lost OBD for post turbo egt with the changes.

My edge CTS is my pyrometer, trans temp, and turbo timer. Doubt you could sell a used edge juice for more than you could buy a CTS so you could do the expansion modules. Super easy and work well. No trouble in 4+ years.
