mine has to be ring related- its a smoke show when your wrap the throttle.  reduced smoke and constant low load.  next to nothing at at idle or start up.

Malfunctioning PCV will do that too.

I have 7mm diameter borescope you can borrow to look through spark plug hole. iPhone or android for viewing & take pics

Don't take me wrong. I'm just trying to give you another perspective and possibly fix the oil burning & fouling spark plugs. It'll be awesome if the actual problem is something simple, cheap and fast fix to get going for now.

Oily piston top do happen, on serious/specific cases though.

At least an attempt to pin point where oil is coming in. Are there any Oil puddling in the intake manifold when looking through the throttle body?

The reason I'm suggesting ways to diagnose the burning oil/blue smoke/fouling spark plugs issues because 3 out of 3 LS-powered ultra4 style buggies among us have/had same problem. Might as well go back to the old school Chevy 350?  ;D

Oil change doubled oil pressure to 40ish

Cut smoke but not by a ton.

Two tires cold vulcanized. One had a loooot of holes in it. Hopefully I got them all and hopefully it was worth it and works. They'll be my spares.

Power steering pump is out. Need to install that, do rear link bushings, and mount tires. Fuck tires. Worst part of this "sport!"

Tire patch has a big bubble. Inner patch must have failed to fully seal, or I needed to let it sit longer. I'll run it for a spare anyway. Didn't break bead on the other damaged tire to see how the worse tire turned out.

Here are each of them before/ during.

Just landed at line mt. Determined a Last Minute alternate for PM. "Delayed Maintenance". Though "Reactive Maintenance" may also be a good candidate.

Car got all 4 rear link bushings, tightened king pin and wheel bearing on LF (should tear down hub and clean/ replace bearings), patched 2 tires which may have been a waste of nearly a day, new power steering pump and filter, and an oil change with fresh 20-50 and a quart of Lucas, after running a half pint of Sea Foam in the old oil for 5-10m (up to 190F ect) to MAYBE free up any stuck gack. Had some pretty bad ticks before changing oil, and 17-22psi at idle, 190F. New oil has same ticks but at half or less the volume, and 37-42psi at idle, 190F.

I'm not sure I changed the oil at the start of the season. Didn't date the filter that I saw though the mud.

We'll see what I forgot to tighten.

If nothing, we'll see if sea foam helped free up any stuck rings, or otherwise how long before I burn 4qt of oil and need to stop and refill for lack of oil pressure.

Honestly the whole reason I still bothered to come down to race on 4hr sleep (in addition to tire delivery to Bret) is to see if the new steering pump made a difference in effort and feedback. Hoping a fresh pump brings things back to what I remember or if it stays terrible and I need to change geometry when I make new tie rods.

Still not sleepy. Humbug. Peace out!
