fresh steering pump (Matt's #) rock'd

flat tire swapped and unit washed. swapped the pinholed filter but didn't replumb yet - figured I'd wait for the fresh pump. I'd never swapped the filter from the original dakota even though they were in the trailer :( fluid full and looks great.
I think it popped at the site of a crack in the paint and a little rust - still seems damn strange. Not like it's rusty crusty at all.

front diff puking out the cover, made a nice trailer mess. doesn't look cracked but I know I whacked it GOOD a couple times.

tire looks fixable at first glance; need to use the M4 KRT breaker to get it off the wheel. runflat needs some stitching and a tube.

passenger lower link badly bent and rubbing driveshaft. time to install those lowers!

Short list of ‘must’s knocked out today.

42s bolted up and aired to 19
USA made stub and ctm installed
Passenger seat installed
Winch switch jurried
Stuffed in the trailer

Tomorrow morning it’s getting the kinked link straightened, front diff filled, and Dennis and I are heading to Attica.

On deck items before Rausch:
Power steering pump r&r
Aluminum front lower links
Rear suckdown winch cable replaced

And finally:
(3) 37s broken down for repair
Proper winch switch
The 97 other things off my old lists

Damn caliper fell off the front today. Not the side that was just done, so I’m very glad it stayed on through the last race!

Bolt still present, key mia.

2 hours of power washing, almost all just top and bottom - sides were essentially clean. Just chunks everywhere they can sit or stick. Clean enough to do brakes and links without misery, I hope.

did the tires too, that was probably half the time. bleh! mud sucks - but I have to admit it was kinda fun hogging through that shit dragging those loader tires 8)

I hope it never got close. I was trying to pay really close attention and wait for an all clear, rear visibility is really limited espc with the saws and stuff onboard.

It didn't get close to any of us. We pretty much ran away as soon as we hooked up chains lol. Them tires are HEAVY.
