11” travel being used in front.

4+ up 7- down.

I need to increase front ride height 1-2” and maybe move shock mounts down. I think at least 6” uptravel would be good, and 5 down sounds like too little. So longer shocks or move mounts.

Rears also only have about 5” of shaft showing. I’ve cranked them up twice this year... Boo for sagging springs.

I’m gonna need a taller trailer...

It would be nice if it stayed where I put it instead of sagging out an inch or two every couple months.

It’s also way overdue for some suspension parts that don’t fall apart, along with some actual suspension tuning.

I’d prefer to go with better than before.

SAWs are about 3" shorter than Profender or Fox. Would HAVE to redo mounts pretty significantly just to keep the car high enough. Freaking SAW 16s would be a better fit. Damnit, otherwise that would be a good enough deal to just do it.

keep in mind Profenders use 5/8" bolt, 1.75" width.  that car was set for sway away width (1.5") and drilled out for 5/8"s

Fox use 1/2" bolt on 1.75.  but the misalignments pull out and leave you with 5/8"s bolt.  i just run spacers instead of misalign on 3 ends.  redid the new front chassis mounts to fox.

forget what SAW are, maybe 9/16" bolt?

SAW page didn't spec bolt, but I think they were 9/16. I didn't dig.

I've thought a lot about the tab widths. No conclusions. My shock eyes tell me that more misalignment could be good.

assuming your limit straps are doing their job, your shock eyes would be telling you the current pinion angles was set and shock tabs not adjusted for travel both ways.  should be more than enough room.

that car was set up for 16" SAW air shocks, i went to 14" co to keep the ride height similar

decided what you might want from fox- ill have Wayne quote it.  Ill be putting in shortly for some front bipasses.  deciding against internal bipass.  just cant tune them.  going to stuff a 10" tripple bypass behind my 12" CO that will become a coil carrier.

Proper clearances at static heights assumes bushings have no give, though. And I kill them quickly.

More reasons to build new links as well. I'd forgotten about that for a moment. Always more to do.

Need (4) 2.5x14 remotes w dual rate setups, and will need springs. Never heard anything back from my sponsor application, but never tried to follow up either. $$ hasn't exactly been burning a hole in my pocket.

Matt chatted with Wayne and got numbers on his car.

Wayne still wants me to run and internal bipass.  meh
