So I never updated a few weeks ago when the leaves shifted in the back. They ended up shifting because the U bolts were loose and wiggly, and on the rear passenger side the smallest leaf was broken in half, and the end of the second smallest leaf was also broken off. Not sure when that happened or why they were loose. Harry ended up torching a hole through the smallest leaf half and was able to put it back in even though it is half the size.

it also didn't want to start by turning the key all winter, so I've been starting it under the hood. Harry did some rewiring and fixed that.

Bringing all my tires in the morning to get mounted! I'll start looking for a good spare possibly, and if anyone knows of a spare snowflake wheel let me know!

Just rear ended a lady. Gonna need rad support bent back and radiator. Not too bad but ugh.

What'd you do that for?!

The car is cool. But not as cool as new tires.

Tapatalking in traffic

4 lanes of traffic in Hartford. Needed to change lanes. Looked down to mirror and back up and lady in front had stopped. Locked up front tires but still collided. I thought I was going to drive away until the radiator started leaking. Cop forced a non AAA tow but confirmed on the phone that AAA would reimburse. $132 ticket. Rad support and headlight area needs a little tweaking back and spare radiator car came with installed. Could have been much, much worse. Lady I hit, cop, tow truck driver and insurance company were all great. Hopefully I just pay the ticket and move on.

Back on topic. No test drive today due to non operational wipers. Pulled assembly and found motor warm. Disassembled and found small magnet fragment inside. Upon cleaning the magnet became unattached. Almost wanted to work but no luck. New one procured. Supposed to be sunny tomorrow so we can get some nice shots of it :)
