Ok cool.
I'll get something started.
The "tube mount design is just a 90 deg bend in some plate that uses hose clamps to attach to the cage and or the extinguisher.
But it can be substituted for a flat mounting plate instead.

Like this.

We can cut some parts and mix and match mounting designs.

I need the practice welding if you just want to cut the pieces.  Seems like tube piece and extinguisher piece should have more material so that it doesn't rock back and forth.  Maybe flare out a "T" of sorts top and bottom?

i used a piece of 2" 120 wall that fits on 1.75 tube

i have 2 on 572 that Pete from Right coast cut out on his table to look at also.

i found it is 10$ for 4 clamps and a 3/8" pin at Lowes per setup

Rear suspension upper mounts reconfigured. Much less angle all around and thicker upper shock mount tabs.

GPS installed
Horn installed
Front limit straps on
Some tubing added in the rear part of the chassis

Thicker 1/16" Aluminum acquired for tins

Have a plan and materials for spare tire mount.

9 used 37" Goodyear Wrangler MTR's sourced for this years go fast racing season.

Hey, we've hijacked this thread for extinguisher mounts.  How dare you post about your build!   ;D

Nice stuff.  Getting down to the wire.  I'm excited for you guys!

gages a nice but a big hassel for the $$ spent

gage vendor though summit sucks- terrible support.  2 gages DOA
2 weeks to send back, they claim no issues, but decided to change two of the lenses because they were worn (new in box gages)
temperature sending units are very fragile, not really for racing.
