99% wired minus needing a brake switch (curse 2014 GM again), wipers and maybe some cab lights later.
hood latch work completed and functional.
crank out windshield mechanism repaired and functional.

hit list:

trans canbus wires need to be fixed
floor pans need re installed
steering column lower mount fixed to floor
seat permanently mounted
mirrors need installed
needs wipers.
needs a brake switch fitted.

i did get some feed back from brendan to try.

The ecm and tcm in both must communicate with each other. Sometimes data circuits go through other modules between the two. Unplug one module the entire chain is broken and no communication. There is also a accessory wake up signal (dark blue wire) that may need hooked up.it's a 12v+ signal that the bcm usually provides in the stock vehicle to enable communications.

Quote
In the end, you want the ECM data wires to go to the TCM, than the TCM to the OBD2 port. (TCM Inside 6l90 trans)  So ECM pins 27,28 will go to Transmission pins 11,10.  Next, Transmission pins 13,14 go to the OBD2 port.
