Just got rear ended by a Jeep Cherokee leaving Wegmans.  Handed the lady her license plate and said I'm good, see ya! ;D

New issue, radio comes on FM 98.5 full volume on first start of the day. Been doing it for two weeks. When the cars shut down its on aux setting.  98.5 is not even a preset. No idea lol.

I bet it has something to do with low voltage on startup.

Had Mavis do an alignment on this a few months ago.  There was some slight ware on the inside of the passenger front.  Took it back once because it was pulling hard right afterword. Looked yesterday, both fronts totally bald on the inside, tires shot.  I knew better...

Started on project struts and tie rods. Srut came out of the knuckle clamp thing surprisingly easy, it's MacPherson style, I thought that would be solidly rusted together. Broke sway bar link bolt inside control arm, heated it a bit but the link is plastic. Striped out brake caliper bolt threads, not the torx head, but the threads inside the knuckle ::). Need a special tool to unscrew the tie rod, could have easily been engineered to get a wrench on it.

I headed out to the garage yesterday planning to finish up at least one half of this project.  I could not get the lug studs off.  I put them on with setting 2/4 on my impact, as I always use with no issue.  I ended up having to heat them all and use a 6' pipe.  Broke the last one.  Drilled out to my largest drill bit 1/2" which wasn't large enough.  Oy, lesson learned.  Ordered a set of 1/2" + bits.

I don't think I've ever had VW or BMW bolts seize on me. I do always put anti- on them when they're new to me and any time they look extra dry. That's poopy for sure!

I was just looking fondly at some pictures of that car last night.
