Shoooooort laps.

Pretty sure these are interference too.

Not good enough for being alone on the track when it munches the engine and I have to get pushed off, then don’t have a winch to get it in the truck, 6 hours from home.

Would be a good acid test for Sarah
This. Is. Racing.

Crank was keeping the belt from walking off.

Puller just cleared radiator. Should pull off with a tap. It’s keyed and straight fit.

That feeling when every attempt is resulting in being a half tooth off. How even?

Probably NOT interference BTW. Fully rotated cam with crank at or near its timing mark.

Done. Small coolant leak returned after reassembling everything and purring the belt on.

Water pump and water neck were new late last year due to same issue. It’s probably that stupid plastic water neck to pump o ring seal. Humbug.

I had to jump mine. Think the bad alt wasn’t charging well. Hasn’t hesitated to start since even with 4-6 starts without a belt.

Tied down, hood closed, ready to rock. Ish.
Thanks to any-Way for the support! :)

#portapower

I don’t think I’ll straighten it here but I could. Just in case need of heat or welder that i don’t have here. No tire contact.

Took the wind out of the other driver :(
Shouldn’t have. But did. Might post a video clip later if I feel like pulling it.  I definitely have it.

Adjusted the core support right into the radiator today. Patched up to run second heat and it hardly even leaked on the way home. Gooder as newish.

Should probably move that plug next to where the tire rubs

Driver side axle seal is out in that 8.8. Coolant was low so temp fix on rad isn’t permanent.

See if I can stick the 571 radiator in or not since I have a spare of that. If not it’ll be something skinny enough to go between the uprights. Or I park it for a parts truck and race Kim’s for 1500.

Or I give up since nobody else races them anymore
