Awesome.

Not that there's any motivation to change at this point, but I was thinking about this a bit and I would definitely put some angle to them, and set them up with tail lights. I'd probably also make them drop into your rear stake pockets instead of bolting to the bed.

revision II items.

or for mine if I decide I don't care about RAWR.

extensions angled down would put even more stress on the part i was most worried about- pulling the deck edge apart.  also the reason why i didn't use the little kid china welded on steak side pocket.  added 2 more bolts to make it 5 across each ramp.  pocket would need a lot of steel and welding on the deck which i didn't want to do with 14' electronics.   

literately takes less than 5 min to assemble or disassemble with a 3/8's dewalt and 9/16" wrench.

cant run the tuner at all with the weight im running.  truck is a pile in the hills boo.

not worth it when still under warranty.  my trans 5th gear is fucked i should probably take it in or trade it in.

I have 800 I think. The tuner adds a lot to it when turned up. I don't tow as much as you do,  but with my 36' Gooseneck full of everything we own I was pulling the mountain pass no problem.  Set the cruise and go. I'm surprised yours feels so bad.

your scale weight is probably 24-26  not 34-36k lbs   :o


650 ft lb truck, and running tuner on tow mode within 30 min it shuts the truck down in hard regen and sometimes even limits the power to 70% if you dont immediately turn the tuner off.

emissions controls and tuners don't play well, go figure :(

I guess if it's annoying in stock mode in the PA hills you must be a lot heavier now than we were to CA. I didn't think it was too annying to pull those grades at 55 doing what we were doing.

its only in PA hills. 

no issues going to KY or IN races in tow mode with tunner on or CA trip.

getting dropped at dealer Monday for airbag harness recall and trans inspection/repair   ::)
