2600 hour 25hp kubota diesel
Center pivot steering, 4x4
Lots of attachment options. This is a 72”
Side discharge.

Might put the plow jeep up for sale and reduce fleet count.

It’s harder to drive, more physical steering effort. Deck moves backwards compared to the rear steer which is weird. Better ride and will do much less rutting and hopefully less stucking.

Maybe upgrade to newer similar style in a few years if I like it. It’s absurdly easy to spend 30k on this style tractor if you’re willing. I’m 5900 into this with a couple small engine leaks and some tired looking hoses. Needs a new end on the auxiliary too, one drips.

Hoping I can use that roller with down pressure to knock down some ruts and wet spots when it is soggy again.

I think it’ll work.

Don’t immediately realize this deck flips up. Manual, but cool!

Lost one of the crunchy hydro lines yesterday. Big one to/from the rear drive.

Pretty large investment to re-hose the thing, all but 3 or 5 look original and show it. No outside rubber coating left at all.

Looking everything over carefully before pulling that $500 trigger I find that the engine to pump driveshaft splines are shot. I can get a shaft for money, but unsure if the splines on the engine come with. Need to get a better look at it but it didn’t immediately want to come apart last night.

engine to pump driveshaft is PTO shaft parts by caliper measurement. so I can make adjustments as needed there and make a new slip in the middle, and lock down those loose splines. Probably just add a couple set screws to it and tighten the dogshit out of them, and hopefully make a short square slip between the middle yokes. I hope I have enough length to do that well without getting fancy.

probably have to pull the engine to get at that shaft, and also to make running new lines easy.

Pulled the trigger on lines and fluid and a filter, so I am sticking about $500 into it. Only other known issue is a sloppy shutdown actuator on the injector pump. bushing and seal are shot and it's a diesel dripper. It definitely had electronic shutoff actuator originally, but that's a $300 list item which is probably why it got a mechanical linkage, and the added load of that linkage is probably what shot the bushing over time.
