Sell water to California!

But seriously, have you think about to bring in a civil engineer to assess your property to get a better understanding on why and what can be done about your water drainage issues?

I remember seeing how all of your neighbors along the street you’re on, drains right into your yard as shown in your pictures. If I remember correctly that water drainage running into neighbors properties is illegal, if that’s case which hopefully will mean someone else will need to pay the cost it’ll take to redirect their water drainage from yours (drain into the ditch or something)

Being at the bottom of a hill means receiving runoff. Soil here is clay, so there’s lots of runoff. It is what it is.

Mostly set to run across back of property, through the pond, and out to the ditch. There’s some grading to fix to get rid of low spots and impoundments. Probably next summer work, when it’s all dry and solid again.

Was up 3/4” in 2 hours after those photos. Haven’t looked since noon.

It runs off from here just as well as it runs to here.

Up 10” during the .6” of rain.

Cleaned the outflow. It’s overwhelmed. Juuuuust overtopping the bank in a couple places. Rain has stopped, it’ll be what it is for now! I marked the overtops. May throw some shovels of clay on those spots to hold since I’m sure it’ll stay at capacity through winter. I think I need a real culvert for outflow so it ramps quickly when nearing capacity.  It’s in better shape than it was when I bought but idk how common a melt plus rain pattern this is.

Bottom of the yard has 6” of water everywhere. Need a better path through the pines for that to improve but that’s not a real big deal. It’s a long ways from the house.

No wash-out from over topping. Down 3” from midnight and still flowing out hard.

All important things are dry and water is staying where water belongs

It cooled down later than hoped here too. Inch of rain in total and hardly a dust of snow this morning. Snowing when it got dark.

I’m guessing he’s gonna ask if I’m repairing or dealing cars. Didn’t ask about the stack of trailers and hauler, but the nice neat line of cars.

Second fucked up shipment I’ve had this month. The other was ups and it ended up returned to sender.

This is the flame sensor. Nice to be burning propane now that it got cold

I opened a case with Usps very late on Monday. Yesterday this magically arrived at Rochester, it came to bloomfield this morning and is out for delivery. It hadn’t arrived anywhere since the 20th.

I played with it more yesterday, and the oil control wasn’t able to be overriden per instructions, so I have a replacement oil control coming.

Now oil control installed. Working as it should. Got one with an info screen so it tells me what it’s doing. Live readout of calls and resistances. Much nicer to troubleshoot than a black box.

Functional again, but I think I may need to clean the orface/burner. Taking much higher oil pressure than it should. 7-8psi instead of 2-3. To get not so much flame with air backed off pretty far.

Could also be too-thick of oil.
