first two days of burning this season. 

messed with the Peristaltic pump i had and found inlet to be clogged with grit.  added a pump screen, will source spare tubing.  its working nice right now.

for reference i have determined that the current tubing on the pump is

"BPT tube 4.8 mm ID x 8 mm OD"

found the bottom of my 270 gal tote today.  pumped last 3 drums i have into it.  might make it through the rest of the winter hopefully!

about 450 gals burned so far this winter i believe

I got hoses to dump from totes across shop into furnace tank. Cracked into the second tote last week, on top of already having pumped 4-6 barrels.

Has been a chilly winter!

Was quite annoying to have almost a full drum of water out of that batch of barrels.

ya i had some junk last year and i was a bit more picky this year.  finding equipment guys is best.  they can load drums and have lots of it, and clean oil.  i have 3 sources in buffalo that yeild a couple drums every season now.

scored some used 6" stainless flew pile, rain cap, tee, trim ring for 100$ today!   was pricing out new local at 450+

installed.
