driveway repair done today from heavy rains.   Decided to pull one from the book of Jeff Price and run my tiller over my entire gravel lot.  works awesome with some careful control.  i hit my water line.  even after thinking about it and knowing it was there.  bah.  fixed and re buried quickly though with parts on hand.  moving on.  should pack back in after some travel.

ya its shallow.  i ran 350' of line from the house to the garden by pulling pex under ground with my tractor and a tool a made.  , about 2/3s of the way down tee'd off and ran a line to the shop also.  its all down hill and pex so the first time it freezes i just shut it off and gravity drain it for the winter.

my driveway was supper packed hard gravel i couldnt chissel threw it by hand or get my tractor bucket to make much progress, so its only about 4-6" below the surface where it crosses the drive way (in sched 80 PVC shell)

the idea was seasonal use for garden, and having a seasonal sink in the barn was bonus.

If and when the over head power lines that feed the barn fail while im here, i will trench unground real power, water, gas and insulated boiler lines between house/garage/barn.

Ah, gotcha.   Makes sense.

At first I was thinking main water to your house or something like that.   I know that one would be buried down deep in NY.

spend most of today attacking 15 years of lazyness and lack of organization of my gear setup shims/parts.  got through about 2/3s of it.  hoping to organize ujoints and seals inventory also in that cabinet on the left

the one on the right will be additional hardware storage and some special tools

Thanks again Gif for the line on the new to me cabinets.
