Radiator finally arrived.

Had to rework the aluminum mounting bracket to suck the radiator up tight to the core support.

the truck im doing now, is the first one i had to raise the radiator 2" to clear steering box, and put the fan in front of the radiator.

also FYI if you dont like that oil fill cap extension, the cap also directly works on the valve cover once the extension is removed.

Engine clean up complete. 3 cans of degreaser and 2 hours of pressure washer.    New intake and oil pan gaskets.  waiting on new hardware for flexplate and torque converter final assembly.

Engine and tranny bolted back together and back in the frame.  Started on the plumbing.  Fuel lines, brake lines.

you have to use a special tool to flare your fuel lines or just a standard double flare tool?

I last touched this thing in June.  left off with the plumbing mocked up.

Waiting for after the holidays to dig back into this.

Next steps are the E brake and column shift.

Followed by engine/PCM and electrical.

I plan to have it on the road this summer...
