also went nuts on the trans pan with RTV for second attempt at sealing.  swapped from cork to rubber with red RTV loose install all 3 surfaces, then 3 hours later snugged bolts up to typical torque.

ill be T18 shopping if it leaks again this time.

first test drive, successful

jeep is 99% needing hard top bolted down, belts bolted in, and reverse lights hooked up to trans harness.  some under hood details and clamps but nothing big left.

tonight:
roll bar bolted in
YJ booster, MC, fire wall bracket sourced from Matts pile, installed
front hardlines and Tee plumbed
brakes bleed
new steering gear installed (required frame modification from reman fittings too tall)
new soft door lowers came in today that have the correct latch, fit right on.

motor running great, automatic happy in first and reverse so far.

put a message into gieco about historical, there site has changed and its not just an option easily like it was 8years ago

also Hagerty through progressive is an option- looks like under 200 a year even with guarantied value at 12k

this unit is fun.

tore around shop lot in 4x4 low through some snow banks and around the cartwright lot.  starts, stops, shifts and goes no issues.

2.73 gears suck haha

successful test drive around the neighbor hood last night.

springs and shocks are pretty stiff, maybe fiberglass is light.
steers and shifts as it should.
need to hook up electric choke so it opens after warming.  runs great cold, has a hard time keeping idle when warm
pleanty of power with the 35s and 2.73s for city driving so far.

front bumper fabricated, painted, installed
rear plate mounted.
