1930 ford front axle
2003 S10 rear axle
Weight: <2000 lbs

Goal: low & lean

the body already had a 10" stretch but i found it was way to narrow.
so i cut it to add 4" of width.

also, i dont like working with fiberglass.   I will never do another glass body...

this thing will be very small.      think go kart with a V8.

I had to find small seats.  These are boat seats.

Im 6.3"  so i need to shove the seats as low as i can.

the floor of most of these type of cars/trucks is wood, like a boat.   
That and the glass body did not give me a warm fuzzy feeling as far as safety goes.

So I went a different direction.
Steel floor with internal cage.

this cage needs to follow the sweeping body lines and be removable.
