Did I mention that only the replaced right rear hanger and shackle were still present, all three others had failed? Extra scary. The bad brake line probably saved a bus full of orphans and blind nuns.

Yup. Seems to be 100% good. Is that not standard issue? It probably had a lot to do with the rearend not entirely vacating the truck

tonight's goals: remove fuel tank, patch bad spot on frame (and check for others), maybe replace rotten crossmember, mount rear axle w shackles flipped, fix brake line, consider fuel tank mounting, reinstall bed.

Frame patch finished unless I don't like something in daylight.

Next session: hang front of springs, tank and exhaust in, bed on, tighten spring bolts, flip it around in the garage and do a brake line.  Done. ?

Once you have specs and numbers, can you send them our way? I would like to place our first order in the racer program and establish a history.

Out of the garage this afternoon. Frame and suspension done, exhaust done. Needs brake line and bed installed.

Flipped shackles seem really low. Maybe 5" from tube to frame with a full tank, spare tire, bumper and no bed.
