new belly and skid worked great.   was a nice feeling knowing i could bash rocks and not hurt it. ;D

Broke the front drive shaft 1 hour into the first day. boo.   but some thin wheel work and parking lot welding and she was good to go for the rest of the weekend. thanks to smike for the use of his welder.

Rear axle hub seal leaks now.
Front pass side upper link mount took a beating, still works, but not pretty anymore...

change/top off some fluids and shes good to go.

I think on board air is next for this pig.

Working on some OBA.

York 210 AC with twin V belt clutch.

I spun a serpentine off a power steering pulley and then spun down the v belt pulley
pressed the serp on and welded it.

Nice conversion. Gives me a new thought for the Dumpbus instead of mating a pulley and running a secondary V belt like I did on the Dakota.

I need some good cutting tools for my lathe. Where do you get quality tooling?

Cut the factory AC bracket to make room for the York.

Then made up a new mount bracket.  Still need to make up the top side of the bracket.

Also need a small brace on the bottom side.

Does the separate crack case still have the same advantage when run on its side?

Home made pulley did not fit. :(        OD was 6-1/4"    Ordered a new one 5-7/8"    $65

Its a tight fit under the hood.

Finished the top bracket.  Now the York is captured with 6 bolts.

New Serp belt @ 100.5"     FYI   P/N  5061005    50=Belt    6=6groove  1005=100.5"
