Jeep got registered yesterday!!! Good to see plates on Jeepie!! Got to drive it all around in the snow, 4wd did some awesome work through the big snow drifts last night too. Thanks to Spencer last week at the junkyard, with his good bargaining skills, I got a fan shroud, chrome mirrors, and a battery hold-downy-thingy for $15. Plus a pocket full of fuses and some sweet emblems. Got to use my new tool kit too that I got over Christmas!

The verdict is still unknown yet if Jeepie needs a head gasket or a new engine... But for now all is working good in the snow here!!!

Jeepie needs a track bar. With plans for 2-3" lift and disconnecting sway bar, do you guys think I'll be ok with a stock replacement?

I was mostly worried about the stock type joint holding up to flex. I suppose then the steering becomes the limiting factor, don't think she's going to be changing much of that anytime soon. Not sure it's an issue with small lift shocks anyway. Thought $80 for Moog and redrill the hole 3/4" over or whatever was a good budget option

Did some 8.25 work! We got Harry's old 8.25 back from the guy he sold it to last year. It was siting around so it just needs a few things. I got all the gears and oil out in preparation for the locker. Didn't have new spring and pins to put the locker together so that'll have to wait a week. Can't decide if I want a solid cover on this axle too or just get one for the front. Hmm...
