Yay! Thanks guys! I can't wait to start... I'm going to drive Harr crazy! First up this weekend is a battery, hood latch, and water pump... and a good cleaning. Jeepie's got a little mold growing on her in spots.

mmmmmmm mmmmmold :)

I have 4 of those eye-eye Edelbrock shocks from a couple years ago. I don't recall lengths but I can check if they may help. Turns out most everything I need is stem-eye.

First weekend was a success! While only breaking two bolts, bruising two knuckles, and having a bit of help from Harry, I installed the new water pump, (harry mostly did the belt) and we put in the new battery. She was almost bone dry though, barely any fluids left in there. We filled up the oil, coolant, and a bunch of water. The check engine light went off so that was great!

She was blowing a bit of smoke out the tailpipe, H said she might need alternator or a head gasket or just a new motor worst case scenario. All in all, I'm happy she's running!! Hopefully it will just all clear out after she gets going on the road a little bit.

Next time we're going to put some slime in the tire that keeps going flat, then ill be able to drive it around the driveway!!  ;D

Got a new alternator in jeep this weekend. The battery still wasn't charging and I figured out the connections just needed a little scratching up. I might not be strong enough to unscrew some rusty bolts, but I'm figuring out how some stuff works  :D

Harry towed Jeepie out to my house in Massachusetts so I can register it after the new year!!

Brake lights are being funky. When the lights are off and I press the brakes they work fine. When the lights are on and I press the brakes the rear passenger brake works but the rear driver side light goes off when the brake is pressed. Going to have figure that out before it gets inspected. I also need to install a new hood latch and find new side mirrors. Then it'll be good to go... For now!

This winter's plan: buy back Harry's old rear axel and put that in, fix the locker I got from Harry's friend, put that in, put stronger steering in, lift a little, and start looking for tires by springtime.

I'm starting to feel like one of the boys... Sitting at work today thinking of how much I wanted to be home playing with my jeep and not at work!

Probably just a blown bright eliment in one of the lights.  I think they are wired to do that for safety.
