stroker 6 to 6.7 what i was thinking.  it thought it looked like 3K in parts over a good doner block.  some dyno work and ECM flashes.  Then probably a 4l80e upgrade

Buy a used Ls1 or Ls2 from that place in Buffalo. They say they have many 5.7 and 6.0 takeouts from GTOs and such. It should be plenty in stock form, or do some head work and get a few more out of it.

I think Cody Addington is running a stock bottom end LS1 with just some ported heads and got like 350 at the tires.

these and and ls1 hot cam should get me in the mid 400's with a LQ4 block..

Talks today, i think a head and cam build on a 6.0 block is the better route for now.  spend about 2K instead of 10K bah
