Galvanize run
« on: April 02, 2013, 02:51:07 PM »
I know a post like this normally belongs on a Land Rover forum...

but being a land rover guy I have recently fallen in love with everything galvanized...

I am heading out to buffalo in the not too distant future to drop off my CJ6 frame for a hot bath...
if anybody has anything they want dipped it can come along for the ride...
they charge by the lb. so as long as I am at or under the minimum I won’t collect any $$$..
I never wanted a red car.. always thought they were tacky and common...
I now have 4 very not common cars and they are all red.. :o

Frontier Galvanizing or something like that?

We used them at my previous employer (P&D Thurston) for structural steel stuff. I remember seeing an invoice we got from them and it said P&J Troyden (or something equally dumb) written on it, thought that was interesting. Also heard interesting stories form pickup and drop-off experiences. Stuff always came out pretty nice though.
