99' chevy 1500 5.3  is what my ECM is flashed to run stand alone.


Not sure if express motors are 5.3 or 6.0

i was hoping for simplicity to stay with the same 5.3 platform for the new car since they appear to grow on ebay trees.

what are the year and model of the express vans, looks like a lot of them come with the 4.8l V8

Someone was telling me good things about the 4.8. Jake, come to think of it. His drag racer buddies build from them, saying they're stouter than the 5.3.

I never wanted a red car.. always thought they were tacky and common...
I now have 4 very not common cars and they are all red.. :o

still all there..

6-lug on the 2500, seems odd.

Something is different with van motors, maybe just wiring could be intake differences, not sure more research needed.

6 lug is weird.

Oil sump is sometimes different. And on second look I remember that one. Rad is pushed back pretty hard, I'd double check accessory brackets but I think it's okay.

motor and trans were probably functional if it wrecked, or was it driven into the ground after it was wrecked?
