25kg all metal steering servo upgrades front and rear

I have an original Kyosho Inferno Gen 1 somewhere. https://rc.kyosho.com/en/inferno30th  Bought the Maxx when I broke myself a couple of years ago.  I had lots of RC cars in my teen years.  Mostly Tamiya buggies.  A few planes that I built from kits, only to see them smash into a million pieces.

I had this one.  1984 Kyosho Chevy Pickup.  It was chain drive.  I remember being upset because all my friends had buggys that were way faster.   I got the Grasshopper next.

My dad had a buggy like that. Terrifyingly fast. I was truly too young to handle it (8ish?) when we were doing RC things, I might still be. I don’t think it made the move from MN. I had some sort of 4x4 Bigfoot type thing that wasn’t terribly interesting. It was fun enough but that didn’t really stick.

Dad was way into it before I came along, had nitro planes and boats. I fooled with the 42” cigarette style fiberglass boat, got it set with 1990 modern radio but it never ran perfectly and weeds were an issue off our dock so I lost interest in that too. I think all that got tossed when they moved out here too.

lots of fun was had with about 10 of us at the jokenin farm today.  2 trips with 2 tractors and dump trailers of rocks, logs ect to make a pretty sweet rock course.

we were entertained for about an hour after setup before cold temps set in.

good to see a pretty strong showing from the club!
