finally got around to planting my field

inside solo cup stuff didnt doo to well, other than about 20 squash plants that got huge.

sprinklers survived the winter outside. brought in the timer controller, and its still good.

i also have a soft ball size beet that has been growing for 1.5 years in a kitchen window box.  The things branches are 3' tall and i have clipped it down several times.  the stalks taste like celery, and the leafs taste like lettuce.  have been making salads for months out of that and some other green things that are growing.

giving up on the dream of having green onions growing in my kitchen window boxes, have tried for 2 years and nothing grows.  ill just cut the wild onions out in my field i guess.

lots of rain this week!  turned of the sprinkler timer !

That's neat.

I've never had any luck with green onions in the windows or in my aquaponics. They grow great outside though.

I've never had any luck with any food in my aquaponics.  Vine plants grow like mad though and keep the water is clean.  It's almost twice as clean as comes out of the tap actually.

Had my first red pepper last night.  Crazy how much more flavor than store bought.
