Another Mini Cooper
« on: August 24, 2020, 03:56:23 PM »
I bought this one thinking it had a bad head gasket. Water in the oil and overheated is what I was told. Looking at the oil, there was water in it. But after taking the head off and checking the gasket it all looked fine. I drained the oil today and found a freeze plug in the timing chain galley. Damn $1 parts causing all kinds of problems.
