Electric neighborhood cruiser
« on: March 22, 2012, 11:37:03 AM »
My kids needs something bigger than the Powerwheels for cruising the hood. Any suggestions.

Must be electric, and able to drive on grass.
Must be able to fit 2 kids
Roll cage would be nice

SUggestions so far, buy an electric golf cart, take out the drivetrain and build a chassis for it all to go into.

Great response Mike!!!   I love it, what has two wheels and requires actual effort "bikes"  I think this will be the generation that skips bikes or at least it is looking that way.

Madison loves her bike but cooper likes to be able to use the power wheel and tow stuff.

They have bikes and ride them, They also enjoy driving.

I would have loved a go-kart when I was a child. They like driving around the neighborhood in the Jeep now, just need something faster, and bigger.

This was no slam at madison or cooper.  I just bought the kids a 110cc quad today.  Last night put the fresh battery in Lukas hot wheels KX and Kasey wants to learn to ride the mini bike this weekend.  I want them to have everything I had or wanted at half the age, just not sure if I am doing it right.    :-\

I was 6 when I got my first motorcycle pw50cc I used it in the field next door growing up. My kids want one but not many places by me yard is a little small. Would love to have a small go kart for camp for them or four wheelers

Never seen one. Halfway between a castle and a pinch/top lock?
