exteme garage makeover
« on: October 17, 2013, 08:18:16 PM »
if you ever  been to my house you know then how crappy my garage is,its cramped, the floor is terrible and my wood door is rotting. one of the problems is a wall that runs down the middle thats due to one garage being added after the other,id like to remove it but i beleive its load bearing due to the shortcut taken when built.

so i guess i could remove the whole thing ,but then id have to get all engineery and prolly spend $500+ on microlambs ,but screw that. i figure double 2x10 with only a 10' span should be sufficient and give me the open area im looking for, and i dont wanna tear down my shelving yet.
tonights progress

Engineering is dumb! It's not holding up a skyscraper above it so it will be fine :)

I wish you could come work at Pratt and Whitney.
