Is that the recall check where they basically redline the motor for 30minutes... if it stays running you are good, but if it fails you get a new engine?

2 years now, no issues to speak of.   12.5k miles on it.

Haven't done the engine recall check yet, will do that when next oil change is due because new oil change is included in the recall no cost.

Cross pin wear is minimal - polished appearance and nothing to touch. it had zero splatter on important surfaces. I just sealed a torq locker into it. Hopefully good. Literally my first ever rear locker experience so if it’s good or bad idk if I’ll know.

I didn’t take any closer pictures when the carrier was empty. Just installed the cover and then looked at the forum. Oops ¯\_(?)_/¯

looking at that picture, i would say re welded it.

to have one of coras lockers work correctly, you are going to need a new carrier and cross pin.

it was def welded on pickup in CO, that thing was chiping those 25yr old BFGs on test drive like its job


ya we tightened up preload on pinion after finding it loose and no other issues, new pinion seal and fluid.

i have a good year in a half on hand, and have 300gals to pick up clean oil to pickup next week, and about 80 gals of heating oil to pick up
so i am good for now

im planning to play with beckett burner guns this winter with some red fuel before converting to WMO
