Camped last night out towards Albion after a wedding. Cooked me out overnight, head to crack a window.
Might head back to the same spot at a marina next weekend and do some fishing. Wanted to set the heater on low overnight to not worry about freezing and not have to R&R the camper.
I really want a taller shop bay!

pulled fender to bang out dents in it and driver door
found intermittent power windows working- found a post on jeep forum that stepped through diagnosis, found no ground at driver door switch. found cut wire from door damage at hinge boot area, repaired.
touched up paint damage with the closest modern GM paint code i could find, not bad.
finally looked though jeep. interior is mint and original. even has the spare and spare tire cover. has weather techs, and tapes in center consol. radio was swapped for a semi modern CD head unit.

mint interior, mint under hood, clean glass and body
came from TN a few years ago, relatively clean underneath
stock
made a deal on it, title should be here tomorrow.
I fixed D30 LCA bracket, upper and lower arms on driver side, adjusted steering back.
got it driving straight and good after a guardrail jump / impact
maybe needs brakes and a muffler.
found a purple donar to see if i can grab a fender and driver door from on way to CT next weekend.

« Last post by M4wdFab on October 29, 2025, 09:28:43 AM »i can basically have full manual control of the trans because i can set the up shift and down shift RPMs (and even based on load or throttle command table) where ever you want with HP tuners.
i need to fix numbers to hold in 3rd gear for green trail cruising. it wants to skip through 3rd to 4th/4thOD immediately and is super annoying.

« Last post by Harrison on October 29, 2025, 09:00:38 AM »Higher stall converter coupled with full manual control of trans made a huge difference in how mine launches on stuff like that ledge we were assaulting on Sunday. Yours already seems better than where mine started from, but I bet you'd like the higher stall. If I could choose to have a switch and have the stock converter for crawling I would but the higher stall isn't bad at all and is worth the tradeoff.
