the info we were working with last night.
need to check pin 58 is correct wire we were using.
need to verify reader works with plug in to jetta or Ram

Torque app was saying connected to reader, no errors in reader, but unable to connect to ECM.

We have gotten my reader to work on Matts car before, so not sure why we wasted 2 hours last night failing at it.

Pin 58   DK GRN   1049   Serial Data to OBD2 Port

Buggy is now OBD2 diagnostic compatible thanks to Delphi spare parts bin.

Need to see if there are some AC Delco AFS105 O2 sensors I can put on for next race rather than the cheapies I bought in KY (can use as spares)

We are KOH 2016 Qualified!

Have some work to do to be able to finish the hardest race in the world (I'm sure I'll be adding much more to this list!):

-Skid plate rework
-spacers in bumps
-Winch replacement
-Fox bypass rear shocks
-lower hood line
-high/low range shifter
-aluminum firewall and trans tunnel
-paint chassis
-rebuild front axle shafts
-make spare driveshafts
-replace all loose heims
-amber light in
-louder horn
-change all fluids
-fix water temp gauge
-bigger radiator/fan
-Move GPS to co-driver side
-co-driver handle bars
-Re wire GPS external antenna
-More lighting, Phantom Sun series from Ryan?!
-New battery and spare on board battery
-Tool bag rack in back over fuel cell
-Frayed hydro line replaced

Spare parts to order:
Driveshafts
Shock
Tires
Wheels
Airfilter
Hydroline

was another bad O2-  we wired it for a code reader now so its easy to look at realtime info on my phone

also had massive exhaust leak pre O2 that wasnt helping.  I believe ran fine at KY other than over heating and puking motor twice before we pulled co seat and cut out mud sheilding

Get that rad cleaned out fully, too. Looked really dirty in those pictures, mud pack doesn't help cooling....

hours were spent straightening radiator fins and making sure clean.  no mud at KY, that wasnt the problem.

the radiators are just too small for 100% duty short course or all out sustained desert running with ambient near 90F

even my car was running 230 after 6 laps in KY.  Full angry foot on floor 95% of course

10-4

very curious what mine would do. I expect similar to yours (230-240) since both seem to run relatively cool in the woods races.
