have 2 of them in VA...

I never wanted a red car.. always thought they were tacky and common...
I now have 4 very not common cars and they are all red.. :o

the last 03 was not bad other than wrecked in the front.  i could have put 3K into it and had a 3k van, ha.   Probably be find to pull a little jeep and  trailer, nice to sleep in sure.


id go with a 3500 with the 6.0 though at least

I was following one of my buddies towing his TJ with a 5.3 1500 uphill. I take it easy on hills but the old Vortec 454 was having trouble keeping up  :-X

Maybe he had his foot on the floor, Idk. He didn't really say when I asked, but said it was 6spd and had tow/haul mode which I'm guessing the vans do not have.

From Yukon XL 1500 experience, they will keep up with most but they sure do wind out to get the job done.

5.3's make power, but its half ton transmissions that dont like pretending they are 1 tons



i bet hell be trading in a slipping machine, i towed with my brotherinlaws 5.3 once, and it got traded in a couple years later.....   :)
